Pet Wants has redefined the meaning of “fresh” in the pet food industry. To us, fresh means from the manufacturer to your pet’s bowl in weeks, not months. We have raised the bar in animal wellness and nutrition for over a decade. Our proprietary pet food is made using natural and fresh ingredients, including salmon, chicken, lamb and brown rice. There are no added sugars, no corn, and no animal by-products. We never use corn, wheat, soy or dyes.

Pet Wants was founded on the belief that mainstream, big-box store pet food wasn’t synonymous with nutrition or quality. So, we created a better option. Second to your veterinarian, our goal is to be your trusted resource in pet care. From food and treats to skin relief, we earn that trust through transparency of ingredients and sourcing, a knowledgeable and caring staff, and a sincere passion to be the best and provide the best for you and your pet.

Finding the right pet products to help your animals live long, healthy lives shouldn’t be challenging. But in the world of pet food and treats – where it’s often more about marketing than ingredients – making those decisions can be especially difficult. I’m Chris Rome, the owner and operator of Pet Wants Denver. While Pet Wants Denver opened in 2016, I joined the pack as the new owner in 2020.

I understand the importance of pet health and the role nutrition plays in their everyday lives and longevity. When my favorite dog passed away, I couldn’t help but think about things I might have been able to do differently. Pet Wants gives me an opportunity to take what I’ve learned, combine it with our Pet Wants products and help other parents enjoy long, healthy years with their beloved animals.

When I switched my cat and dog to Pet Wants, we saw an almost immediate difference in their health, coats, energy levels, and more. My dog, who was always a slow eater and a slow walker, now devours her food and is leading the way on our walks. She’s happy and energetic – and I’m falling in love with her all over again. That’s what I want for all pets and pet families.

Pet Wants Denver is a mobile business and we offer free, personal delivery through greater Metro Denver and the surrounding area. I’m excited to meet you soon!
